We, Asahi Kohatsu Corporation (AKC) would like to announce our merger with JSM Ltd., our parent company holding 100% shares, to take place on August 1, 2016.

In the merger, JSM Ltd. will be the surviving corporation, absorbing AKC. All the assets & liabilities of AKC are to be succeeded by JSM Ltd.

JSM is a trading house specialized in export of machinery and after-sales service for almost the same regions as ours. Hence it was finally decided to merge the two.
